Dover–Medway: the bigger story behind the new Dover condo

Dover Drive is not an isolated condominium site. It is the first private residential parcel in a new neighbourhood planned as part of Greater one-north.

What has been officially announced?

URA says Dover–Medway will introduce a mix of public and private homes with amenities, stronger pedestrian and cycling connections, and recreational spaces. The aim is to let more residents live close to the area’s work and learning hubs.

Why this matters to a buyer

Early entry into a developing neighbourhood can bring both opportunity and inconvenience. Future amenities and a larger residential population may improve daily convenience and support demand, while construction activity and the time needed for the precinct to mature must be considered.

The employment catchment

Greater one-north connects major research, technology, biomedical, media and education nodes including Fusionopolis, Biopolis, Singapore Science Park, NUS and NUH. That broad employment base is relevant to both owner-occupiers and investors assessing tenant demand.
