Why one-north MRT is the relevant station
Although the neighbourhood is called Dover, the site sits closer to the Circle Line’s one-north employment cluster than the East–West Line’s Dover station. Marketing should therefore explain the one-north, Buona Vista and Kent Ridge network rather than claim direct Dover MRT integration.
What changes the real walk
Traffic crossings, shelter, gradients, construction hoardings and the location of the residential side gate all affect actual travel time. Straight-line distances are useful for orientation but should not be presented as a guaranteed doorstep-to-platform time.
Connectivity beyond rail
The Ayer Rajah Expressway and roads through North Buona Vista connect the area to the CBD and western employment nodes. Bus routes and future neighbourhood connections may add resilience, but final service patterns should be checked closer to completion.
